Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix: Fugitoid

Greetings HeroClix Fans!

Welcome back to the next exciting preview of the much anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix set!  The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gravity Feed features more than 30 characters from the Turoints. He will pull his weight in durability and damage and can help your entire team with his support powers and clever positioning. Fugitoid‘s keywords help tell his story, of how an amazing Scientist from the planet Neutrino transferred his mind into this Robot body, eventually becoming a trusted TMNT Ally.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix: Fugitoid

Though this fugitive android was fleeing Krang’s forces when he came to Earth, he may be put to better use running towards the battle instead of away from it on his opening click. Having Phasing/Teleport with a Speed of 12 means he can travel a far distance while ignoring terrain that would normally provide obstacles while moving. This will enable Fugitoid to get adjacent to opposing characters, to be effective for close attacks.

Once faced with opposing characters, Fugitoid can be hard to target with his trait, Perfect Holographic Projection. Succeeding on Shape Change with a result of 4-6 will really challenge your opponents when they try to target him with an attack.

After Fugitoid loses his initial click of Phasing, he keeps some mobility by switching to Sidestep, which will help you position him to get the most out of his trait and his special Defense power, Impervious to Heat and Energy.

Impervious to Heat and Energy lets Fugitoid use Tougness, but when targeted by a ranged attack, he can use Impervious instead — plenty of reduction to keep him alive, provided Fugitoid fails his Shape Change roll in the first place.

Offensively, Fugitoid can crack through the toughest characters with Precision Strike for over half of his dial. Even after Fugitoid takes a few clicks, he’ll still be poised to help himself or your entire team with three clicks of Perplex.

On Fugitoid‘s last two clicks he has Stealth, giving him yet another defensive buff for your opponent to deal with. Fugitoid certainly has a variety of uses if you take full advantage of Perfect Holographic Projection and Impervious to Heat and Energy. He could be quite a useful shield for your other figures if you can make your opponent deal with him at range while protecting his teammates.

That wraps it up for today. Don’t bug out, there are more coming! Stay tuned for our next preview of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix Gravity Feed.
