WizKids HeroClix Toy Soldiers Holiday OP

Greetings, HeroClix fans! It’s getting to that time of year again – the air is a little colder, the music a little cheerier, and in some places, we’ve even seen our first snowfall! The holidays are right around the corner, and that means it’s time to take a look at one of our traditional holiday figures that you can win at your friendly local game store’s organized play events! This year, we’re pleased to bring you the Toy Soldier, straight out of Santa’s Workshop!

WizKids HeroClix Toy Soldiers Holiday OP

The Toy Soldier is a 60-point piece, with a range of six squares with one target – he’s also Indomitable, so you can push him without concern. The first thing you’ll notice about the Toy Soldier is the trait, Set Up the Rifle Line. This trait states that at the beginning of your turn, you may choose a row, column, or diagonal that includes Toy Soldier. If the chosen line includes all friendly Wooden Soldier bystanders, place a friendly Wooden Soldier bystander in that line, either adjacent to Toy Soldier or adjacent to another Wooden Soldier bystander. However, you can’t place it if there are already 6 friendly Wooden Soldier bystanders on the map. He also has a second trait called They Won’t Listen!, which states that Toy Soldier and friendly Wooden Soldier bystanders can’t be carried or placed.

One important thing to note with both the Toy Soldier and Wooden Soldier bystander is that both have a 0 movement value, but they possess Sidestep. So, while they’re not instantly mobile, they can both effectively build a wall as well as reposition slightly to protect the rest of your team. The Toy Soldier and Wooden Soldier bystander also have full dials of Toughness, meaning they’ll be able to stick around to protect those behind their wall of wood.  The Toy Solder also has a special power called Rifle Formation Rally which states that Toy Soldier and friendly Wooden Soldier bystanders can use Enhancement, but only to affect other friendly characters named Toy Soldier or Wooden Soldier. And, when they hit with a ranged combat attack, you may add one action to your action total this turn.

Toy Soldiers can be played on Mystical, Santa’s Workshop, Soldier, or Toy themed teams, so the possibilities for using the Snowfall team ability to wildcard onto a beneficial team ability are endless. Use the Mystics team ability, for example, and now every time your Toy Soldiers take damage, they’ll be dealing it right back!

That’s all for today, HeroClix fans! Be sure to visit the WizKids Info Network to find WizKids HeroClix Toy Soldiers Holiday OP events near you.

We wish you nothing but the happiest of holidays, no matter what you celebrate. May the season bring you peace, love, and joy. Until next time, don’t be afraid to push!

Winter HeroClix OP- Abominable Snowman

WizKids would like to wish a very Happy Holidays to all you HeroClix players and collectors!  If you are looking for a way to keep your dice warm this winter season, then might we suggest you register or log in to the WizKids Event System at  There you can find tournaments at your favorite local venues, or even distant venues while traveling, as you search for the mysterious and legendary Abominable Snowman this holiday season!  The Abominable Snowman is only available in the 2015 Winter Monthly Organized Play Kit and is a powerful addition to the WizKids Holiday Figure collection alongside the Holiday Elf and the Krampus from previous Holiday seasons.  Let’s take a look at what the Abominable Snowman brings to the table.

Looking at the sculpt we see a gigantic hungry looking white furred beast sure to send a shiver down the spines of your opponents!  On the dial top we see the Snowman has the standard movement and attack symbols, Indomitable, and Giant Size granting him the abilities to push without taking damage and all the benefits of the recently improved and streamlined Giant Reach and Great Size abilities.  We also see he sports the Snowfall team ability symbol making him a Wildcard that can copy team abilities from other friendly characters.  At 148 points, this rare and unique creature is ready to brave the harsh elements and carry your team to victory (before going back to its cave to hibernate over the summer months).

Looking at the Abominable Snowman’s card he has two keywords, Monster and Mystical, making him a perfectly themed companion for his other Holiday Figure colleagues.  He has two traits that make him a very dangerous Snowman; Aura of Cold lets you place action tokens on opposing characters who are 148 points or less that he is in base to base contact with at the ends of your turns. Just a Legend…? gives him the use of Stealth.  He also has Mountain Man, granting him Improved Movement that ignores elevated terrain letting him step right over the glaciers and ice cliffs.

Abominable Snowman

Going to the dial we can start to put the pieces together.  Starting with Charge, Super Strength with 11 attack, 18 defense with Invulnerability, and 3 damage with Battle Fury this piece is asking to be in the middle of the action.  He is a giant brick that can hide in Stealth and ignore elevated terrain for his 5 square Charge, grab an object on his way, attack a single target ignoring any Shape Change, and, if you placed him right, he can keep the opposition busy by adding action tokens to them every turn.  Not too shabby!  Or is that shaggy?  Mid-dial he keeps Charge but changes his attacks with Blades/Claws/Fangs and Toughness keeping his damage dealing potential respectably high.  Late dial this frosty-furred fellow is looking to either put the finishing touches on an opponent with Close Combat Expert or to slink back into seclusion with Side Step, Super Senses, and a special power named Giant Snowball that lets him use Incapacitate with a range of 6 that also deals his damage value to a hit target.  If he gets knocked down to his last 3 clicks, you can use Incapacitate to give out an action token and some damage, Sidestep into base contact if you aren’t already, and give them another action token with the Aura of Cold trait.  You might have to ask yourself, are they frozen by the ice or frozen by fear?

That’s all for today.  Again we at WizKids wish everyone a safe and joyous Holiday Season and we look forward to hearing about all the great games and camaraderie at Organized Play tournaments this winter.  Cheers!

DC HeroClix 2014 Gen13 Monthly OP Kit: Sarah Rainmaker!

Greetings HeroClix fans!

Thanks for joining us for the next preview in the DC HeroClix: Gen13 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit!

This figure from the Organized Play kit can be used with the Gen13 team base found in the DC HeroClix: The Teen Titans set. Today’s figure is Sarah Rainmaker, let’s find out whether or not she can weather the storm.

Sarah Rainmaker is an inexpensive 80 points that has the Flight combat symbol and a 6 range with 3 targets. This will work great with her top 3 clicks of Energy Explosion! In addition, her top 2 clicks have the same powers. Running Shot, Energy Shield/Deflection, and Perplex. The Perplex really gives her some great options for attacking your opponents force.

Sarah Rainmaker has the trait Psionically Controlled Water that states if Sarah Rainmaker is occupying water terrain, she can use Barrier as a free action. When she does she may place the blocking terrain markers in water terrain. Map choice to be able use her trait can really be important so you may want to have a theme team. Her only keyword is Gen13 and choices to make a theme team, while limited, are great. Used with a team base

Click 3 of Sarah Rainmaker’s dial changes her Running Shot to Force Blast and she loses Perplex. She also changes her Energy Shield/Deflection to the special power Sheets of Rain that says Sarah Rainmaker can use Willpower. Sarah Rainmaker and adjacent friendly characters can’t be targeted by opposing characters 5 or more squares away. Willpower is great for pushing, but the other part of this power can be used really strategically as well. A map with water terrain will give her free use of Barrier and this special power can force your opponent to come closer to you. Characters with higher range values or close combat bricks would be great to pair up with her. Her last 2 clicks have Penetrating/Psychic Blast, so if your opponent wants to target her, they have to be in her range as well.

Overall Sarah Rainmaker is a very strong secondary attacker and with her powers can offer herself as a strong support character as well. Lastly, while Sarah Rainmaker is attached to the team base, instead of (the DC HeroClix: Teen Titan’s version of) Sarah Rainmaker’s Asset power it uses the following one: T004 Gen13 This team character can use Running Shot.

Thanks for weathering this preview and be sure to stay close by for the next reveal from the DC HeroClix: 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit!

Marvel HeroClix X-Men 2014 Monthly OP Kit: Psylocke!

Greetings HeroClix Fans!

We are pleased to continue our series of previews for the Marvel HeroClix: X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit! The X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit includes 4 copies of 3 Limited Edition figures not found anywhere else. Additionally, all three Limited Edition figures in the X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit interact with the X-Men team bases from Marvel HeroClix: Wolverine and the X-Men.

Psylocke will be able to take full advantage of her 7 movement value and top dial Stealth, with her Improved Movement hindering terrain. This version of Psylocke is designed for close combat, having a 17 defensive value with Combat Reflexes and Perplex. Her Perplex could be used to modify any combat value but wouldn’t a 20 defensive value from a close combat attack be nice.

Psylocke’s special A Well Placed Blade power; will allow her to use Blades/Claws/Fangs. If Psylocke rolls a 10 or higher and she uses Blades/Claws/Fangs to replace her damage value, then that damage becomes penetrating.

After click one, Stealth turns to Sidestep and Psylocke can now use Super Senses. On click 3 the other of Psylocke’s special powers is called Telepathic Illusions. Psylocke can use Shape Change. If the character targeting her can’t use Mind Control or Outwit or Perplex, Psylocke will succeed on her Shape Change roll with a 4 – 6. Psylocke will finish out her dial with the use of Exploit Weakness.

Psylocke has the X-Men team ability and can be fielded on a part of your team for 62 points. Psylocke can be added to Excalibur, The Hand, Mojoverse, X-Men, and X-Force themed teams.

Psylocke may replace WXM063 Psylocke when building your X-Men: Blue Strike Force team base. If you do you would use the asset power printed on this card instead of the one on the team base. When Psylocke is attached to the X-Men: Blue Strike Force, characters on a Solo Adventure from this team character can use Shape Change.

Thanks for reading and be sure to continue to check back as we look at figures from the upcoming Marvel HeroClix: X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit. Until then, Shape Change for the Win!!

Marvel HeroClix X-Men 2014 Monthly OP Kit: Angel!

Greetings HeroClix fans!

We are pleased to start our series of previews for the Marvel HeroClix: X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit!

To kick things off, please welcome the high-flying Angel! One of Charles Xavier’s original X-Men, Angel boasts both a new HeroClix dial and sculpt unique to this monthly Organized Play kit. The other two figures from the X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit include previously released sculpts paired with new dials.

Angel comes into play at 65 points and hits the battlefield with a trait called Same Guy, Different Approach. This trait allows Angel to be used in place of #067 Archangel on the #T002 X-Men Gold Strike Force team base. While Angel is attached to X-Men Gold Strike Force, it may use the following asset power instead of Archangel’s:

Angel 1

Angel possesses the Transporter Wing symbol, which lets him use the Carry, Flight, and Move and Attack abilities. On his first two clicks, Angel can help get teammates into place with the Carry ability and his attack values don’t suffer too much if he also chooses to use Hypersonic Speed (with a -2 modifier to his attack value) via the Move and Attack ability. To knock back opposing characters, Angel has the Force Blast power on the first two clicks of his speed slot.

On the first two clicks of Angel’s damage slot he can dish out 3 clicks of damage to opposing characters. Angel also has a special power called Aerial Recon and Assault, which opens up his offensive potential by letting him use Close Combat Expert. Additionally, Aerial Recon and Assault lets Angel help his teammates by preventing opposing characters within 4 squares from using Stealth. Defensively, Angel has the Toughness power to help him absorb some of the damage dealt to him.

Once Angel is off his top two clicks, he drops Force Blast in favor of Charge but picks up Quake in his attack slot as his new means of knocking back opposing characters. Defensively, Angel switches from Toughness to Super Senses. Aerial Recon and Assault sticks around on Angel’s third click, then is replaced with Exploit Weakness on his last two clicks.

Angel makes a viable taxi or third attacker for your force and has the Celebrity, X-Factor and X-Men keywords as options if you choose to add him onto a themed team. He also possesses the X-Men team ability, which lets him heal a click if he’s adjacent to a character using the same team ability.

Thanks for reading! Join us next week for another look at the Marvel HeroClix: X-Men 2014 Monthly Organized Play kit as we visit a member of the Braddock clan who once was an assassin for The Hand. And be sure to come back later this week for more previews from other upcoming HeroClix releases!

Announcements Marvel Dice Masters: Avengers vs X-Men

Marvel Dice Masters Update!

Marvel Dice Masters Update!

Greetings WizKids Customers,

While it may be redundant, we again want to thank everyone for their patience and suggestions during what has been a hectic few months.   We continue to hear that product that we hoped would get us caught up is only scratching the surface and while disappointing for many we hope this bodes well to the future success of the Dice Masters line.

We have the following updates on shipments planned for Marvel Dice Masters: Avengers vs. X-Men:

There are several shipments of reprints on their way to the US.  The next wave of Starters will arrive at the end of June with another wave of Gravity Feeds arriving in late July.  Despite our best efforts to fill demand with these reprints, the product is still pre-selling before it arrives.   We were able to bring on a very sizable amount of capacity which has enabled us to add a reprint to the schedule (available in September).

We are also keeping an eye on the longshoremen labor dispute on the U.S. West Coast, and will deal with that issue if and when it happens.  Obviously, any sort of strike will ripple through most of our product lines so we’re monitoring the situation keenly.

Briefly on the factory/capacity situation: we believe we are, or will be soon, the largest dice manufacturer in the world.  Fortunately, making dice and making small plastic figures is essentially the same process.  As we get our arms around the demand, moving volume between factories is pretty straight forward and it is one of the reasons we are able to add reprints while also printing the next set.  We appreciate the patience as we grow the Dice Masters business.

Organized Play

While it’s difficult to discuss in-store play programs when there isn’t enough product, we want to reinforce that we are in this for the long term and as such we’re looking ahead to when supply issues will be behind us.  To that end we’ve taken another deep dive into our sealed booster program and have worked hard to come up with what we feel to be a new exceptional experience.  We call it the Rainbow Draft format and you can read more about it here.   We believe this format showcases how Dice Masters is a unique and worthy in-store organized play experience.   While the previous formats are all still valid, the Rainbow Draft will likely be preferred by most of your customers.

That’s it for now, again we hope to get ahead of demand and we thank everyone for their continued support.

Marvel HeroClix: Avengers vs. X-Men Storyline Organized Play Event Update

Greetings HeroClix retailers and supporters,

We’ve been listening to your feedback concerning the upcoming Avengers versus X-Men (AvX) storyline organized play series and we wanted to share our thoughts as well as make an announcement of changes we will be making to the program as a result.

First and foremost, we would like to thank all the retailers around the world for your support of the WizKids Organized Play (OP) ProgramOP is the centerpiece of many of our product lines and your continued support is important to us.

AvX is a very exciting program linked to two upcoming starter products: Marvel HeroClix: AvX – Avengers and Marvel HeroClix: AvX – X-Men Starter.  Not only are these the two flagship teams of the Marvel Comics universe, but the recent comic book mini-series this OP program is based upon shook the foundations of both teams to the core.

Therefore we have filled this OP program with compelling competitive and participation prizes that is sure to excite our players, and hopefully you, our retail partners as well.

To that end, we’ve listened carefully to what our retailer and distribution partners have had to say about AvX specifically, and Storyline Organized Play in general.  To that end, we are making the following changes to the AvX storyline event series, effective immediately:

  • We are eliminating any and all purchase requirements connected to the AvX Storyline OP series.  Instead, we will be reviewing store orders against what their demonstrated HeroClix attendance has been for similar events.  Order allocations may occur as a result.
  • We are changing the recommended event templates for AvX from constructed events to a hybrid of sealed/constructed tournaments.  We will be updating the AvX event templates found in the WizKids Event System (WES) shortly to reflect this change.
  • Purchase of an AvX starter (Avengers or X-Men starter) is no longer a prerequisite for participation in the AvX Storyline OP series.  Rather, players will only need to bring one (or more) figure(s) from their selected starter to participate.
  • We are increasing our print run of AvX to more readily accommodate the current levels of demand for storyline OP.

It is our intention that by relaxing the requirements for the AvX Storyline OP will result in a much easier program to participate in, and therefore be more rewarding for all.  Furthermore, by altering the event recommendation templates in the WES, stores will more readily re-coup the costs of participating in the event series.

Lastly, we want to thank you all for your contributions to the incredible growth we’ve experienced with HeroClix.  As many of you are aware, in the past three years HeroClix has grown at an impressive rate and the response to Storyline OP has been spectacular.  The changes we are making to the AvX Storyline OP program, as well as additional changes to Organized Play we’ll announce in the future, will all be designed to both shore up the program to meet the current level of demand as well as increase flexibility for all.

As always, thank you for continued interest and support.
-The WizKids Games Team

Announcements Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself

Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself Storyline Organized Play Update

Greetings HeroClix retailers and supporters,

We’re writing to you today about the Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself (FI) Organized Play Program.  The FI program was a bold, new program with a new configuration and content model.  We had a good idea that FI would grow the line but couldn’t reasonably anticipate the sort of growth we’ve been seeing at the store level.

Before we explain what we can do in the short run, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience any OP kit shortages has caused.  Your support over the last few years has transformed the product line for the better and we empathize with your frustration over the lack of FI OP product.

The Fear Itself OP model was an entirely new undertaking for WizKids and despite forecasting a healthy amount of growth; we were blown away by the turnout.   As many of you know, HeroClix has been growing at an impressive rate over the past 3 years and the surge of growth with Fear Itself has put us behind demand curve.  We are aware of the shortage situation and are taking steps to shore up downstream OP programs.  We are in the process of placing orders for next years programs and have already increased our print runs to accommodate the new level we seem to have achieved with FI.  Additionally, we are changing the configuration to match the new attendance levels.  Next years’ kits will have separate prize and booster SKUs – This will give us some additional options when it comes to fulfillment.  We’re also going to adjust the kit size based on the attendance we’re seeing at the stores.

In the short run,  we’re going to offer factory sets of the Fear Itself OP program contents to those stores allocated in months 4, 5, or 6.  Starting today (9/30/2013), we will be taking orders for a ‘print to demand’  Factory Set of the Fear Itself.  Only stores that were allocated in months 4, 5, or 6 will be eligible to order product and you will be limited to 1 factory set per store front allocated.  Orders will be cross referenced between DiamondAlliance and NECA direct stores to prevent double dipping.  We will be offering the Fear Itself factory sets (SKU 70876) to stores at the reduced pricing of $72 per set.  These sets are limited to one Fear Itself factory set per allocated store front.

Each Factory set contains one of each figure from the booster, one of each OP kit component and 1 final prize.

We expect the Fear Itself Factory Sets to be available in early December and will keep you updated should the schedule change.

Additionally, regarding Avengers vs X-Men (AvX) Storyline OP:  we have increased our print run to a level that we believe should be more than adequate for the current levels of demand.  We are also taking away the purchase requirement for the AvX program however we will be manually evaluating store orders based on purchase history,WizKids Event System registration and player registrations.

Lastly, we’ve updated all of the Avengers vs. X-Men event templates in the WizKids Event System from purely constructed events to a hybrid of sealed and constructed.  Players will still need to bring at least one figure from their selected AvX starter, but now our recommendation will be to create the rest of their force utilizing some combination of figures they bring to the event and sealed five-figure booster product.

As always, thank you for your continued support and interest,
-The WizKIds Team

Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself Preview

Marvel HeroClix Fear Itself: Mokk-Breaker of Faith!

Greetings HeroClix Fans!

Welcome back to “Fear Itself Friday” as we take a closer look at another of The Serpent’s Worthy.  Paul Pierre Duval has long been a thorn in the Avengers‘ collective side as the villainous Grey Gargoyle but his obsession with eternal life has brought him into constant conflict with Thor, God of Thunder many times over the years.  Perhaps this is why the Grey Gargoyle was deemed worthy of The Serpent’s blessing, which transformed him into Mokk, the Breaker of Faith!

023 Mokk

One of the most feared powers in the Grey Gargoyle’s arsenal has long been his ability to petrify his victims with just a touch.  As Mokk – Breaker of Faith, this power has been amplified and is represented by his Advanced Petrification trait.  Advanced Petrification denies non-free actions to any opposing characters within four squares if they’re a lower point value than Mokk! Considering Mokk – Breaker of Faith is 240 points, denying actions should be an easy enough strategy provided you can maneuver him into position against his enemies.

Speaking of maneuverability, Mokk – Breaker of Faith possesses a full dial of Running Shot thanks to his Hammer of Mokk trait.  Add in the Flier ability and you have a figure that can maneuver into position to best take advantage of ranged attacks (tricky but not impossible with Mokk’s 4 range value) and then potentially deny opposing characters the ability to retaliate.  (In 300 point games, consider moving in a couple of Asgardian Trolls, since they’re only 25 points each, to follow up with attacks of their own or to further tie down the opposition and Mokk – Breaker of Faith can bat clean up with his Hammer in subsequent turns.)

However, that’s not all the Hammer of Mokk trait gives the former Grey Gargoyle! A full dial of Plasticity ensures that anyone foolish enough to engage Mokk in close-combat will likely regret the decision as he uses his petrification powers to hold them fast to where they stand, and pummel them with his Asgardian might!

Mokk – Breaker of Faith possesses aggressive combat values throughout his dial, and his Indomitable ability will allow you to make best use of his powers.  Mokk begins play with Super Strength allowing him to use objects for even greater impact when combined with his natural 4 damage value and Exploit Weakness! On his second click, Mokk – Breaker of Faith also picks up Charge to compliment his full dial of Running Shot!

Mid-way through his dial, Mokk – Breaker of Faith gains the now-familiar Revert special power, allowing him to be exchanged with a character called Grey Gargoyle and the Hammer of Mokk special object.  Players can elect to use the Grey Gargoyle from Marvel HeroClix: Secret Invasion (SI 010) but it’s probably a safe bet that a new Grey Gargoyle is on the horizon (spoilers).  Mid- to late-dial Mokk also gains Incapacitate to further exemplify his petrification powers.

Defensively, Mokk – Breaker of Faith begins play with Impervious, then enjoys a healthy stretch of Invulnerability and finally ends his dial with two clicks of Toughness.  However, if played correctly you’ll probably never see those two clicks of Toughness as Mokk will be locking down his foes with a mix of positioning, his powers, and relentless attacks (thanks again to his Indomitable combat ability).

Predictably, Mokk – Breaker of Faith possesses the Asgardian and The Worthy keywords, but Brute, Diety, and Masters of Evil allow for some great thematic team builds as well.  No matter how you slice it, Mokk – Breaker of Faith is a compelling figure and deadly adversary on the battlefield!

Thanks for joining us today for our latest Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself article.  Join us again next week as we continue to look at The Worthy with a villainess determined to prove her might over men.  Until then, keep your Clix off their K.O.’s!

Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself Preview

Marvel HeroClix Fear Itself: Red She-Hulk!

Greetings HeroClix Fans!

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming and exciting Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself storyline organized play series! Our first couple of previews showcased The Worthy; well today we begin our look into The Mighty with a double dose of Red She-Hulk!

 006 Red She-Hulk

First, we take a look at the common Red She-Hulk (#006), who starts with a trait called Triggered Regeneration.  At the end of your turn and after you have cleared action tokens from your force, if Red She-Hulk still has two action tokens then she is healed of 1 damage. For a character that also has Indomitable, this is a great way to keep her alive and in the game.

Red She-Hulk comes out fighting with four clicks of Charge and a special power called Stronger than Jennifer. This allows Red She-Hulk to use Super Strength, and when she uses an object during an attack, increase the damage dealt by +1.

Red She-Hulk is just 119 points, so for playability Red She-Hulk could Charge in from five squares away, pick up a standard heavy object using Super Strength, and use her 11 attack to crush someone with the object. Her base damage is 4 on her opening clicks, which is modified by +2 for the heavy object and an additional +1 from Stronger than Jennifer. This boosts her to a damage value of 7 … WOW!!!

For defense, Red She-Hulk starts out with two clicks of Invulnerability and then on click 3 she switches to Toughness. Also on click 3 she picks up some Close Combat Expert that she can use for her next 4 clicks.

On click 5 Red She-Hulk will be able to use Leap/Climb but loses Stronger than Jennifer. However, she switches to regular use of Super Strength. On Red She-Hulk’s last click she regains Invulnerability with an 18 defense.

Red She-Hulk will add to theme team building with Brute, Defenders, and Intelligencia as her keywords. Team her up with (GG #206) Dr. Strange on a Defenders team. Dr. Strange carries her up into position and aids with Energy Shield/Deflection. With Perplex, Dr. Strange can modify one of Red She-Hulk’s combat values once she is ready to Charge in. Just a thought…

020 Red She-Hulk

The Mighty version of Red She-Hulk (#020) comes with a combat ability we have never seen on any version before: . This allows her to use the Carry and Flight combat abilities. If you pulled both versions of Red She-Hulk out of your Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself boosters, she could literally carry herself into battle!

Red She-Hulk has a full dial of Charge and starts with a 10 movement. On her top four clicks Red She-Hulk has a special attack power called Mighty Big-@$$ Sword. This allows Red She-Hulk to use Blades/Claws/Fangs. Red She-Hulk may be given a close combat action that does not generate knock back; when she does, on a result of 4-6 on the d6 roll for using Blades/Claws/Fangs, after actions resolve, deal the same amount of damage to an opposing character adjacent to the target but not adjacent to Red She-Hulk. For the rest of Red She-Hulk’s dial her attack slots have Super Strength.

Red She-Hulk’s defense symbol is Indomitable and her dial is covered by 3 different damage-reducing powers. She starts with two clicks of Impervious, then two clicks of Invulnerability.  Her last 3 clicks have Toughness. Just try and damage her.

On click 5, Red She-Hulk has the Mighty Revert special power. When turning the dial, if this click is revealed due to damage taken from an opponent’s attack, stop turning the dial. Give Red She-Hulk a free action and replace her with a figure with the same name and less points that’s the same number of clicks from its starting line. That character can’t be given an action this turn and modifies its attack and damage values by +1 for the rest of the game. This power can’t be ignored.

Finally, Red She-Hulk has a trait called I’m Keeping the Sword, which reads: “When Red She-Hulk uses Mighty Revert, the replacement character can use Blades/Claws/Fangs.”

I can’t wait to use her in Golden Age games and Mighty Revert her into WS #053 Red She-Hulk, who is such a beast in her late dial anyway.

Red She-Hulk (#020) has a point value of just 155 and should be an asset to teams that share her keywords: Brute, Defenders, and The Mighty.

Thanks for reading! Please join us for more upcoming and exciting Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself previews. Until then, Shape Change for the win!
