Greetings HeroClix Fans!
It’s game time as we look into the Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One set. Thus far we have seen many ways in which to affect the field of battle and the Mechanicalchaser will surely not fall short to the bring the pain as it pursues its target with relentless aggression.
The Mechanicalchaser starts out with 4 clicks of a special power called Whirlwind of Weapons. This will allow Mechanicalchaser to use Charge and Flurry. On his top click Mechanicalchaser could be given a power action and then move up to half his speed value, in this case without any modifiers would be up to 5 squares. Mechanicalchaser is a Flier, and can use the Flight ability which would allow him to use Improved Movement to avoid elevated, hindering, and outdoor blocking terrain as well as opposing characters during his movement. Once Mechanicalchaser got adjacent to an opposing character he could stop his movement and then be given a close combat action as a free action to use Flurry and make 2 close combat attacks, either on the same adjacent opposing character or 2 different ones.
Defensively Mechanicalchaser starts out with a single click of Invulnerability and then the rest of his 6 click dial has Toughness. Mechanicalchaser does gain the use of Exploit Weakness on his last 3 clicks and over laps with Blades/Claws/Fangs on the last 2.
For 92 points Mechanicalchaser is a well packaged dial and even has a 6 range. He has the “Bandit Keith”, Dark, and Robot keywords.
Additional Team Abilities will be legal in the Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One universe and this guy would qualify for the Robot ATA; however he would still need a buddy like maybe the Cannon Soldier. When two friendly characters that can use this team ability are adjacent to each other, choose one of them to use Perplex until your next turn, but it may only target characters with the Robot keyword. A character may only use this team ability once per turn and it is Uncopyable.
Thanks for reading and be sure to continue to check back as we look at more figures from the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One set. Until then, always be ready to DUEL!!
