Greetings HeroClix Fans!
Welcome to another preview from the upcoming DC HeroClix: Teen Titans set. Today we chase down one of Prime’s Titans and take a closer look at the mysterious android from the future, Indigo!
Indigo has two traits. The first is called Cybernetic Causality Loop. This allows Indigo to be given a free action, but only when she has just one action token on her, and choose an opposing character within 6 squares and line of fire. That character can’t be given any power actions until the beginning of your next turn.
Indigo’s second trait called Embedded by Brainiac allows her and adjacent friendly characters who share either the Prime’s Titans or Robot keywords to use the Superman Enemy team ability, thus giving the character with the higher point value the use of Outwit.
Indigo also has the Outsiders team ability so she may be given a free action to choose a character within 10 squares and line of fire. Until the beginning of your next turn that characters combat values can’t be modified. The Outsiders team ability is a great response to an opposing character gaining a benefit from a resource dial.
Indigo starts off with two clicks of Phasing/Teleport and the wing speed symbol, allowing her to use the Flight and Carry abilities. For attacks, she can use Penetrating/Psychic Blast with a range of six squares and two targets. Indigo’s defense is covered with Impervious, which might even allow her to reduce damage dealt to 0.
Indigo’s Indomitable combat ability allows her the use of Willpower so she can ignore pushing damage, and she also has some Probability Control to help in case you miss that much-needed die roll or your opponent doesn’t.
Mid-dial, Indigo goes from Impervious to Invulnerability; her damage value increases and she gains some Perplex.
On Indigo’s last two clicks she regains Phasing/Teleport and trades in Penetrating/ Psychic Blast for Pulse Wave. Indigo’s defense jumps up to an 18 and now has Toughness to help reduce damage dealt.
Indigo is a unique and with her six-click dial coming in at 150 points it is easy to see why. This little lady packs one heck of a punch. Her keywords are Future, Outsiders, Prime’s Titans and Robot.
