Greetings HeroClix Fans!

Today we present to you another great preview from the soon to release Marvel HeroClix: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.! Angry at his father for sending him to a boarding school after his mother died, Kyle Richmond tried the playboy lifestyle but found himself soon bored. After his father died, he inherited his father’s company and fortune, but this was also unfulfilling. Offered an opportunity by the Grandmaster, he jumped at the chance of a life of excitement as the superhero, Nighthawk!

Marvel HeroClix: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.- Nighthawk

Nighthawk comes in at an inexpensive 120 points, but he’s rich with possibilities. He has the Flight symbol allowing him to swoop out of the shadows and strike his enemies down! His Improved Targeting: ignores hindering terrain gives him the advantage while he is on the hunt for his prey.

His trait Night and Day gives your opponent the choice of modifying Nighthawk’s combat values by +1 or all opponent’s defensive values by -1.  His other trait, Pushing the Defenders to Be More Proactive, allow adjacent characters that share a keyword to replace their attack value with each other. Isn’t it great what money can buy?

Nighthawk’s starting clicks have Running Shot, Energy Explosion, Perplex, and the special power Shielded Wings that allow him use of Energy Shield/Deflection, Toughness, and Willpower. His single target 6 range combined with his Energy Explosion will light up any villains hiding in the dark.

Mid dial Nighthawk makes it more personal and hands on with Charge and Blades/Claws/Fangs leaving his opponents bloodied and perhaps a little broken, but they’ll heal. Clicks 5 and 6 see Sidestep, Super Senses and Probability Control for those long nights where he stakes out his victims and pounces hard. And his last click shows that, even without the gadgets and money, he has the will to keep fighting and win.

He has the Defenders team ability and the keywords Defenders, Initiative, Squadron Sinister, and Thunderbolts. Pair him up with AVAS048 Trick Shot using his trait to get his attack combat value of 12 then his opponents will go quiet into the night.

Thanks for reading this latest preview from the upcoming Marvel HeroClix: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. set.  Stick around for another preview coming soon leading up to Wednesday’s release!
