Greetings HeroClix Fans!
Welcome to another preview for the Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One set, which is coming to a retailer near you this winter! Today we’re cutting the deck with Kazejin. Let’s take a look!
At two different values (150 and 100 points), Kazejin is a great primary attacker with the stats to match. At 150 points, Kazejin gains two extra clicks of life. Kazejin starts with Running Shot, Impervious, and the special power Squall Barricade that allows adjacent friendly characters to use Super Senses but only succeed on a result of 6. With high attack and damage values, you should be able to make quick work of opposing characters. At 100 points, Kazejin starts with the same powers on the first click but then transitions to Force Blast for the rest of his dial.
Kazejin has the trait Defensive Formation that says once per game, when Kazejin or an adjacent friendly character is dealt damage from an attack, you may give Kazejin an action token. If you do, that character ignores all damage from the attack. This is a great trait, but make sure when you use it that you aren’t being set up for a bigger attack you cannot defend against. Speaking of defense, after Impervious Kazejin switches to Invulnerability and then Toughness. Kazejin has the Flyer symbol so carrying a support character around will not be a problem.
We’ve run out of cards in this deck but stay tuned for another Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One preview as we show you a character that will set you on fire!
