Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix Series One: The Forgiving Maiden!

Greetings HeroClix Fans!

We’re dealing a new character today from the Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One set at a retailer near you in February of 2014!  Today’s preview character is The Forgiving Maiden, let’s see if she can give absolution.

015-The-Forgiving-Maiden

For 75 points The Forgiving Maiden shouldn’t apologize for who she is, an elegant support piece.  She starts her first 3 clicks with Defend and Support with Support on her entire dial.  Her top click with a 17 defense can help grant amnesty from an attack, but clicks 2 and 3 have a 16 Defend and with Support, she will have an easier time healing friendly characters. Also on clicks 2 and 3, The Forgiving Maiden has Force Blast which can help get an adjacent opponents away so you can heal friendly characters.

The Forgiving Maiden has the trait Selflessness that allows adjacent friendly characters to use

Regeneration. When they use it in this way, choose a number 1-6 as the minimum result for the d6 roll and, after actions resolve, deal The Forgiving Maiden that much unavoidable damage. If you have a character that has taken a hard hit or two, you can heal with The Forgiving Maiden and then use her Regeneration trait and potentially heal back to first click.

A 300 point tent pole team could be Summoned Skull and The Forgiving Maiden. If you win map roll choose a map with a lot of water terrain for Summoned Skull’s trait. Keep The Forgiving Maiden close but protected.  Let Summoned Skull take the hits because he has a deep dial filled with damage reducers. As he takes the damage and has been dealing the damage, let The Forgiving Maiden heal him up then push Summoned Skull with Regeneration with The Forgiving Maiden’s trait. Get him back to his top click and finish off your opponent’s character.

Thanks for reading and be sure to check back as we preview more pieces from the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One set!
