Greetings HeroClix Fans!
Today we have another exciting preview from the Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Series One set coming to a retailer near you soon! Today we bring you the preview of Curse of Dragon!
Curse of Dragon starts at 124 points, possesses the Flight symbol and a 4 range single target. Movement-wise, he starts with 3 clicks of Hypersonic Speed followed by 3 clicks of Charge. Its last click is the only click with no movement powers, but that shouldn’t be a problem.
Attack-wise, Curse of Dragon starts with Precision Strike that will let you get through your opponents pesky defenses. On its second click it gets the special power Bone Wings that says Curse of Dragon can use Steal Energy. When it does and heals, choose Combat Reflexes or Energy Shield/Deflection. Curse of Dragon and adjacent friendly characters can use the chosen power until your next turn. If you are able to use the Steal Energy while pushing, you can avoid taking that click of damage for it!
Curse of Dragon’s defenses start with Toughness, changes to Invulnerability then transitions back and forth from Toughness and Invulnerability for the rest of its dial. Make sure to remember to choose Combat Reflexes or Energy Shield/Deflection when you hit with Steal Energy to boosts its stats up. Lastly, Curse of Dragon obtains Exploit Weakness mid-dial and end-dial as well.
Curse of Dragon’s combat values are fairly aggressive as well. Its attack never goes below a 9 and goes as high as an 11. Its damage value starts at 4, and does go as low as 2, but he has Precision Strike and Exploit Weakness when it does, so it will still hurt. Its defense can go as high as a 20 with his Bone Wing special power, but end dial goes down to a 16. It has the keywords “Yugi Muto,” and Dark.
Thanks for reading and be sure to come back next week for another exciting HeroClix preview!
