Greetings HeroClix Fans!
We continue our exploration into the dark lands of Mordor as we bravely seek to uncover the evil secrets behind Sauron’s most feared lieutenants! Today we are pleased (and a little frightened) to spotlight the Ringwraith!
The Ringwraith begins play maneuvering freely across the battlefield thanks to an initial click of Phasing/Teleport on his dial. Early- to mid-dial Quake and Exploit Weakness ensures the Ringwraith will have options whether he’s surrounded by foes or simply dispatching a single enemy. The You Cannot Kill Them special power grants the Ringwraith the ability to modify the defense of friendly figures with the Nazgul keyword and also offers the Ringwraith some protection from harm by conferring Invulnerability as well!
Late-dial the Ringwraith gains Blades/Claws/Fangs increasing its potential damage output to 6, while close to a full dial of Stealth helps hide the Ringwraith from sight (and pesky retaliatory ranged attacks from meddling Elves!)
At only 100 points, the Ringwraith is a fairly straight-forward yet no less effective addition to your force. Combined with other Nazgul like the Witch-King or the Black Rider, the Ringwraith will certainly strike fear in the hardiest of opponents!
That’s all we have for today, but be sure to join us again soon as we continue to explore Middle Earth with a visit to Sauron’s most vocal minion!
