Heroclix Preview Superman

Fairest of Them All!

Greetings HeroClix Fans!

Today we spotlight a character from a land, far, far away where once upon a time, she ruled all she surveyed as the fairest of them all.  It seemed that she was destined to live happily ever after were it not for a chance encounter with a princess even fairer than she! Of course we’re talking about the Queen of Fables!

The Queen of Fables is seeking a Prince Charming for her tale and she’s not above some magical coercion to get her way! Early-dial Mind Control and high attack values give her the opportunity to find her leading man, or to make supporting characters dance to her tune.  Her Rewrite the Story special power allows the Queen of Fables to use both Perplex and Probability Control as she finds new and exciting ways to confound her foes!

Mid-dial the Queen of Fables gains Plasticity as she manipulates her victims and entrapts them within her clutches! And if her enemies manage to slip away, the Queen of Fables will smite them from a distance courtesy of Penetrating/Psychic Blast!

Late-dial The Queen of Fables’ special power, I’m the Hero of This Tale allows her to use Willpower as well as give her a boost to her combat values! When the Queen of Fables targets an opposing character while using this power, she may replace her attack and damage values with the printed attack and damage values of her target +1!

Lastly, a full dial of Shape Change plus alternating Invulnerability and Toughness helps to protect the Queen of Fables from harm, while end-dial Regeneration gives the Queen of Fables the opportunity to return to her mid-dial clicks.

While some may find the Giant-size on the Queen of Fables to be hinderance, she is able to strike at foes up to 2 squares away, and though she may be an easier target, especially due to her Trait, the Queen of Fables’ Mystics team ability will have her enemies thinking twice before attacking her!

That’s not quite all we have for today, so be sure to check back with us later on for even more exciting HeroClix previews!
