On the Road – HeroClix Nationals & Prizes at Origins Game Fair 2012

Greetings WizKids Fans and Supporters!

Are you a competitive player?  Want a chance to prove you’re the best? Then the HeroClix National Championship at Origins Game Fair 2012 is for you, and your first step is to compete in a HeroClix Grinder event!

A Grinder is a sealed 300 point event where you build the best team to compete with 7 other players.  Each round is single elimination and only one winner will emerge undefeated from each Grinder.  By winning the Grinder, you will get your choice of an Apocalypse or Dr. Fate convention exclusive and passage into the HeroClix National Championship finals on Saturday.  Second place in a Grinder gets you the other convention exclusive not picked by the winner.  On Saturday, join the other 32 Grinder winners in a 300 point Modern Age constructed event.  The first 2 rounds will be Swiss and then a cut to the top 8 players who will play in a single elimination bracket to determine the HeroClix National Champion.  As the winner of the HeroClix National Championship, you will get a badge for Gen Con Indy 2012, and a seat in the HeroClix World Championship Finals on Sunday at Gen Con Indy 2012.  In addition, the National Champion will receive a factory set of Galactic Guardians, a set of 2011 convention figures (Moonstone, Wonder Woman, Famine, Pestilence, and War), Apocalypse, and Dr. Fate.  Finish in the top 8 for Nationals and get to pick a prize from a pool of Apocalypse, Dr. Fate, or one of the 2011 convention figures.
