Manhattan coming to San Diego

San Diego Comic Con is just around the corner, I thought it would be nice to share some convention related information.

WizKids will once again be nestled within the NECA booth and we’ll be showing off some goodies in the display cabinet (no touching!)

Some of the highlights will include:

Those of you interested in getting up close and personal with the new figures from Web of the Spider-Man, there will be 2 boosters and numerous figures from the set on display.  I pretty much put the whole set in the box – we’ll see what gets put out on the shelf.

The Hunger Games:  Training Days Strategy Game – Based on The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins will also be on display.  No it is not a Clix game!

Star Trek: Expeditions (pending licensor approval): The cooperative game by Reiner Knizia will on display – Box top only (sad face)

Halo Reach:  Noble Team sculpts and the Reach Warthog will be there for all you Halo fans.

Last but definitely not least,

Watchmen fans can get a first hand look at the HeroClix Watchmen Collectors Set.  There will be a sealed box on display as well as some loose figures in the case.  The figs look great, the dials are great and box makes for a great keepsake/storage unit.  Don’t believe me, check out some of the initial reviews hitting the net here, here and here (yes, i sent out about 15 review copies – that’s how they got them)

Colossal Dr. Manhattan himself will  be on display in the cabinet AND he’ll be for sale at the booth.  Quantities are limited so get there early.  We have a limit of 2 big figs per customer but we tend to be flexible based on demand.  We only take CASH so hit the ATM early before they run out of bills.  No tickets, bracelets or lottery, thank God.

Unfortunately, the WK product team is not going to SDCC.  We’ve got our hands full with the upcoming releases and couldn’t afford the time away from the office.

Talk to you later,

Justin
